What are you most passionate about in your role(what drives you)?
Being behind the design and construction of infrastructure that benefits the community, whether that be new schools, sports fields or upgrading Base capabilities for the Defence forces.
In your opinion, what makes SCP special?
We’re a firm that delivers projects well above our weight. The heavy involvement of the senior team members on projects to assist younger members and resolve technical matters, not only helps educates SCP staff for future projects but also mitigates issues falling through the cracks.
What are the top 3 projects of your career so far and why?
HMAS Watson Redevelopment One of the most picturesque sites in Sydney and definitely one of the most challenging in regard to staging, existing services and geotechnical conditions.
Smalls Road Public School One of the more unique and interesting building design’s I’ve been a part of. My school definitely didn’t look like this.
AIR555-1, RAAF Base Edinburgh Worked within a great team for the delivery of airfield and operations facilities. The project was a massive learning curve for airfield planning and design of airside infrastructure, which I never thought I would get a chance to complete.
